Christian Music Interviews

Artist Interview: Chris Marashlian – ArtistPR.com

Tell us about yourself and your music

Multi national, free lance World musician for over 50 years, born in Newark NJ, and having performed up and down the eastern coast of the US, including Canada and California as well.

Talk to us more about your latest release

Have produced multiple CDs in the World Music Genre for Creative Artists Productions, https://www.creativeartistsproductions.com as well as my first initial “experiment” in production and songwriting, documenting many of my original compositions in rock and ballad styles, said CD was entitled Chris Martine, catsrevenge ,and a number of my songs, from that CD are also uploaded to Soundcloud.

What inspired you to write this release?

Two demo versions of two of my most current compositions are on Soundcloud under the Username of CreativeArtistsProd, and named “I Pray for You”, and “An Ode To Senor Chavez”.
Latest song ie: ” I Pray for You” was inspired by a distant Love, living far away, and to whom my creative energies were dedicated to.

Any plans to release a video?

Have seriously been thinking about doing a simple video for one of my current songs. Will be working on the Logistics of such, sometime in the not so distant future. Any videos I have currently on You Tube are in the World Music Genre, and are Instrumentals only.

Any plans to hit the road?

Being that I mostly freelance,no special performances are pending at this time.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

At present, I am considered mostly as a World Music performer and artist.

Who have you been listening to lately?

in order to better cultivate my own personal songwriting craft, I have actually found it much more beneficial, to not listen to other peoples music. Sometimes living a daily existence in silence helps me to better focus on my own personal, inner songs, melodies and compositions. Living in a world of constant external noise can cloud ones own thoughts, concentration and focus, especially ones own personal musical focus.

Tell us about your passions

I am very passionate about organizing my creative energies and documenting some of my best musical performances yet to come. Each one to be better and better in content and quality, than I have ever done before.

What else is happening next in your world?

Thanks for an awesome interview, Chris!
