Over the weekend on social media, NewSong shared the sad news that their founding member Eddie Middleton died. The band posted a tribute to Eddie, saying he served faithfully in ministry for over 40 years.

“He had a consistent testimony and faith walk the entire time we knew him,” NewSong shared. “His heart for evangelism continues on in the ministry of NewSong. He leaves behind his wife, four children, and beloved grandchildren. His life had an incredible eternal impact, and we are rejoicing that he is now with Jesus!”

Just a few days before his passing, Eddie shared one last post on Facebook. He invited people to come to Jesus and expressed his gratitude for the life he got to live. You can read his post by clicking here.
