Today on social media, Luke Smallbone of for KING & COUNTRY announced that his fourth child Evie Joy Smallbone was born. His wife Courtney shared that the baby came January 8th at 5:44am, weighing 7.25 lbs and measuring 20 inches.

“Today is a very special day in our household.. as we just welcomed our first little girl into our family!!” Luke shared on for KING & COUNTRY’s Facebook page. “Courtney and I have always longed to have a girl join our family, but after 3 terrific boys we weren’t sure if that would ever take place.” He continued. “A few years back we lost a little baby, so this girl (I’m now holding) redeems so much in our hearts. A dream of our darling girl was dreamt many years ago and today, we thank the Lord for the gift of our daughter.”

“She has been so longed and hoped for. After miscarrying and after waiting- her presence has been life and joy.” Courtney posted.
